# Food for thought for the AI fans

I fear AI will be to the white collar job what the tractor was to the small farmer in the 1930s. Think “Grapes of Wrath” for 80% of the work force. It isn’t going to be pretty. (Another relevant book “Player Piano” by Kurt Vonnegut)
