# FerriteCon 2026 - September 24 at TU Braunschweig

We’re happy to announce **FerriteCon 2026** , a one-day conference focused on the **Ferrite.jl** finite element toolbox, taking place on **24th September 2026** at **TU Braunschweig, Germany**.

[Ferrite.jl](https://ferrite-fem.github.io/Ferrite.jl/stable/) is an open-source finite element toolbox in Julia, designed to keep mathematical abstractions while providing performant building blocks for FEM code. If you work with FEM in Julia or are curious about it, this is a good opportunity to learn more, meet the community, and see research done with [Ferrite.jl](https://ferrite-fem.github.io/Ferrite.jl/stable/).

The program will include:

- Talks on **recent developments in** [Ferrite.jl](https://ferrite-fem.github.io/Ferrite.jl/stable/)
- **Research use cases and applications** across fields
- **Discussions with Julia users** and **open-source contributors**

**You don’t need to be a developer to present** — all kinds of Ferrite-related use cases are welcome, from research projects to teaching experiences. **The conference is free of charge.**
