# Estimate affine transformations between images

Is there any package implementing [Lucchese’s et al. algorithm to estimate the affine transformation between two images](https://doi.org/10.1109/ICIP.1996.560780) - or a similar algorithm that does not use image features, but the whole images?

If not, would it be a suitable PR for ImageTransformations.jl or another existing package in the ecosystem of [JuliaImages](https://github.com/JuliaImages), or would it be better to propose it as a separate package?
