Can you open an issue with an MWE? It sounds like we implicitly assume that your saveat is given monotonically in the right order, which is violated in your case. That should get a validation at least to check and error if the user violated that condition. I don’t think I ever validated that since I never thought to run an example where the data wasn’t in order
