# ERROR: Unable to automatically install 'Libtiff' on Windows 10

I’m on a Windows 10 machine running Julia 1.6 and was just now hoping to start profile some code, but alas was hit by this error message when trying to install the `Profile` package. Help would be much appreciated!

Works fine for me on Windows 10, Julia 1.6.5 (although there isn’t really a reason to use 1.6.5 for most people, you should be on 1.7.2!)

Side note, Julia v1.8 will provide significantly more verbose error messages when a download like that fails. Typical problems which cause download issues are network (mis)configurations, or the use of proxies

I upgraded and now it works 🙂
