[Metalenz](https://www.metalenz.com/) is a venture-backed startup developing next-generation sensing systems for consumer electronics with metasurface technology. We develop our design and simulation tooling in Julia. If you are interested in inverse-design problems in optics, practical applications of differentiable computing, or building computational workflows, don’t hesitate to reach out!

We are currently hiring for the following two roles:

- [Sr. Research Engineer](https://www.indeed.com/job/senior-research-engineer-938fd39c090e3690): help build our design toolkit by making accessible libraries and implementing new functionality
- [Staff Research/Ops Engineer](https://www.indeed.com/job/staff-research-and-ops-engineer-b2872d46f1547a82): help build and scale our workflows and databases across the company
