# Documentation for bar plots in Plots.jl?

I am trying to figure out how to do a bar plot, but cannot find any more documentation than [Bar · Plots](https://docs.juliaplots.org/latest/gallery/gr/generated/gr-ref14/#gr_demo_14) which mostly tells me that it exists.

I tried [Bar plots · GMT](https://docs.juliahub.com/GMT/EoU0j/0.30.1/gallery/bars/bars/) but get different results, but maybe GMT and Plots are different.

Indeed those are different Packages.

There is more documention on bar plots in [the api section](https://docs.juliaplots.org/latest/api/#Plots.bar-Tuple) and [in the customization example](https://docs.juliaplots.org/stable/gallery/gr/generated/gr-ref56/#gr_demo_56).
