I would love some feedback on a potential breaking change in PkgTemplates to make package creation easier on GitHub. Since that is the only hosting service I use, I’m blind to how it would affect GitLab et al.

> HTTPS authentification was deprecated by GitHub in 2021 in favor of SSH, so that… the simple workflow given in \[JuliaNotes\](https://m3g.github.io/JuliaNotes.jl/stable/new\_package/) now fails.
> I don't know how GitLab and other platforms handle this, but maybe it would make sense to choose \`ssh=true\` as the default in the \`Git\` plugin?

Please don’t change.

The default works well for sites where the proxy server does not permit ssh://
I had to change from ssh:// to https:// for that exact reason.
