# Convert string to equation (fast)

Hi Daniel,

Welcome to the Julia community!

Could you condense your current approach into a minimal working example (with simplified equations and update rules)? (See also [this PSA](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/please-read-make-it-easier-to-help-you/14757).)  
Currently it is not clear to me why you could not just load your equations once as functions of the updating variables and then simply continually evaluate these functions in your loop.
