# Code suggestions are not supported for this language

I use VScode for most of my work and now trying to adopt it for Julia dev activities.  
I have juliaup install on my PC and my default version is release (1.9.3 at this time).  
I open the folder with my Project.toml and here is what I’m seeing (Julia extension is installed):

Did you install the vscode extension “Julia language support”?

Yes, I did (multiple times in fact).  
You can also see evidence of it in the middle bottom of the screenshot - my Julia environment is being activated.

What other extensions do you have enabled? I get code suggestions without any special icons appearing in the status bar — in fact, is that icon and notice coming from a different third-party plugin?

It could be Intellicode because it only provides hints for Python, Java, and TypeScript/JavaScript.

It is better to have one profile per programming language if you have extensions for so many programming languages.

Yes, I moved away from my default profile into Julia (inherited from Python) and it works fine now.  
Great idea, @xiaoxi !  
Also I still can’t get indication of unrecognized function (`prinln`). Do you see that editor highlights `prinln("test")` as valid code?  
At the same time I get warning that
