# CFP Open for the Data Analytics DevRoom at FOSDEM 2025

Hi. I am one of the organisers for the **Data Analytics DevRoom** at **FOSDEM 2025**. For those of you that are not familiar with FOSDEM, it is the largest Free and Open Source event in Europe, and it takes place every year in Brussels on the first weekend of February.

The event is organised in multiple DevRooms organised by volunteers. This is the first year there is a DevRoom about **Data Analytics** , and we wanted to make sure we reach out to the **Julia Community**.

The Call For Papers is now **open until the end of the month**. We welcome presentations about any open source project(s) around data and analytics: scientific libraries, databases, open data formats, ingestion, visualisation, data quality, data wrangling… both from a maintainer’s or from a user’s perspective.

Are presentations in-person only or can one present virtually?
