I don’t seem to be able to post a reply to e.g.

> [@Why does SparseArrays have mul!(α, A, B, β, C)?](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/why-does-sparsearrays-have-mul-a-b-c/8940):

> What’s the reason that SparseArrays.jl has a mul!(α, A, B, β, C) function but this type signature isn’t overloaded in LinearAlgebra.jl?

as well as other posts in the Development category.

Are you restricting different categories to different category users? Are Development questions only open to core Julia developers?

Ah, I’ve found the “Trust Level” in my account preferences, and then this:

> [@Barred from posting to discourse because I'm not "trust level 2."?](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/barred-from-posting-to-discourse-because-im-not-trust-level-2/4309):

How does on get TL2? 😉

It would probably good if the site gave a message “Posting in this category is restricted to members with trust level 2”, instead of just not having a Reply button.

That post doesn’t really belong in internals which is intended for discussion of programming language implementation internals – i.e. compiler, inference, etc. I have moved it to the “Development” category.
