I have installed JuliaPro 1.0.5-2 on mxlinux (based on Debian). When I start the application (./LaunchJulia), the following errors appear in the terminal window:

bash: cannot set terminal process group (-1): Inappropriate ioctl for device
bash: no job control in this shell

The application then _appears_ to launch correctly. However, I’m not sure that these errors aren’t indicative of something I am not aware of. I found the same question posed previously and the suggestion was to ensure an exact copy of an installation directory into the appropriate hidden directory under my home. I did this, but the errors still occur. I have tried this with both the version noted above and version 1.5.0-1 with the same result.

Is this likely to be anything I need to be concerned about?

Thanks.

I have the same problem. I have installed JuliaPro 1.5.3 on ubuntu 20.04. When I start the application (./LaunchJulia), the following errors appear in the terminal window:

bash: cannot set terminal process group (-1): Inappropriate ioctl for device
bash: no job control in this shell
