Problems of any human endeavor, with science being the area where errors or frauds have the highest chances of being discovered (when they are in any sense relevant community-wise).

I nowhere said it’s a norm, I stated that the peer review is unable to catch these due to the nature of it and the tools we use today.
In math, yes peer review can check everything ( given that one will sit hours and check everything )
