Hi all -

Just wondering if there is an equivalent in Dataframes.jl to pandas’s read\_html() function for reading in HTML tables. I did some googling and looked through the docs and didn’t see anything - so I assume it’s just low on the priority list. But I was just wondering if I missed something - since I’d prefer to be working all in Julia rather than doing pycall.

Thanks!

There’s nothing in DataFrames to read any external data - we used to have a CSV reader directly available, but this was factored out long ago.

If the table is just some sort of delimited format you can just `HTTP.get()` it and then feed the `body` of the returned object to the `DataFrame` constructor.
