Sorry for bumping this old thread, but do you remember if you ever managed to get similar results with SMC as with the older DE method?

I did not ever get similar results with SMC.
@francesco.alemanno are you still working on this package?
Did not get the chance unfortunately.
I’m no longer working on indirect inference problems, although I would gladly review&accept a PR (from a benevolent contributor :D) to improve existing algorithms/add some other algorithm.

Actually no, there is no article where ‘KissABC’ is described and no permanent repository (e.g. Zenodo) for it. Furthermore, the package has never undergone a rigorous validation process.

Does smc()
function doesn’t calculate weight in current KissABC.jl package ? I went through source code and i’m not sure where exactly its calculating weights for accepted particles.
