# \[ANN\] Juno 0.7.11

Couple of reasons:

1. It doesn’t support REPL modes (like the `pkg>` mode).
2. It’s slow.
3. It’s basically unmaintained.

Granted, you’ll lose a bit of the fancy interactivity, but that will be restored at some point with something like [this](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/is-julia-a-general-purpose-language/17071/43).
