I try to reproduce the following two examples in Julia 1.0.2,:

```julia
using Plots
anim = Animation()
p = plot([sin,cos], 0, π, size=(300,300))
scatter!([0], [sin,cos])
for i in 0:0.1:π
    p[3] = [i], [sin(i)]
    p[4] = [i], [cos(i)]
    frame(anim)
end
gif(anim)
```

```julia
using Plots
pyplot(size=(300,200))
p = plot([sin,cos], 0, π, lab=[:sin :cos])
scatter!(1, lab="")
anim = @animate for x in 0:0.1:π
    p[3] = [x,x], [sin(x),cos(x)]
end
gif(anim)
```

found in:
[Animation](https://github.com/JuliaPlots/Plots.jl/issues/111)

Two requests:

1. How to update them to this version?
2. In [Julia Downloads](https://julialang.org/downloads/) you can read:

> Previous stable release (v0.7.0)
> Julia v0.7.0 is a transitional release, intended to aid the transition from Julia v0.6, to Julia v1.0.
>
> Does this mean that I should have version 0.7.0 installed and run examples from previous versions?

How to proceed, please. I’m introducing myself to Julia, and my scrips sources are the ones I find on the Web. And at times I do not know if it’s a problem with the installation of Julia or scrips made in previous versions.

You should use 0.7 to see deprecation warnings, but that doesn’t mean there exists trivial fix.

But definitely do that first in case it’s something easy to fix.

You are missing the dot to broadcast over the ranges here, so

```julia
should work fine.
So I update the code lines of the example. Is Correto?
```julia
using Plots
using .Iterators
itr = repeated(()->rand(10), 20)
animate(itr, ylims=(0,1), c=:red, fps=5)

Looks like a tricky one

```julia
itr = zip(rand(10))
animate(zip)
itr = zip(rand([1:4], 10))
animate(zip)
> Couldn't spawn `ffmpeg ... ` no such file or directory
The second itr might be a chance
I don’t know what the second achieves. Anyway, the error is because you don’t have ffmpeg installed.
I’ll have to look into the recommended suggestion for repeatedly tonight.
It doesn’t work here but it may elsewhere, i think it got close if it’s erroring on ffmpeg
Since this works
```julia

itr = repeated(rand(10), 20)
animate(itr, ylims=(0, 1), c=:red, fps=5)

it must be the way the anonymous function in `repeated()` works:

```julia
20-element Array{getfield(Main, Symbol("##15#16")),1}:
