# AMD Rome vs Intel Xeon shows bad scaling with threads for AMD

Wow, thanks all for your benchmarks and efforts on this kernel. It is interesting to see the difference among the processors, and it seems I have to live with the fact that the kernel doesn’t scale well beyond 4 cores on most machines.
