# Adaptivity in MIRK4 for BVPs

That’s great to hear! Thanks a lot for all the work!

I’d have one more question.  
Is the adaptivity activated just with “adaptive = true”?  
I manage to get the adaptivity with MIRK but the new adapted mesh is uniform every time (when I check sol.t, for example).

it should be on by default now. open an issue and share `]st`
