# Activate the global environment

Hi there,  
is there a command to re-activate the global environment for packages once it has been switched to a custom folder?

Do `] activate @ <tab>` to see the available global environments, and just complete the command with the desired one.

I believe simply

```nohighlight
] activate

```

returns you to the global environment
